The annual international conference is set for 2-4 May 2024 at the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, Iligan City. The keynote speaker for this year is Professor Miriam Coronel Ferrer, 2023 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee.

 

This year's theme is "Reimagining Margins, Reclaiming Borders." With the recent developments in domestic and international politics, the issues of margins and borders again come to the fore. The focus on reimagining margins and reclaiming borders invites scholars and practitioners to question the existing conceptualization and understanding of Philippine politics, political theory, comparative politics, international relations, and research methodology.
