Thomas Tödtling has been Head of the International Office in New York since October 2023. Previously, he headed the EU Projects team in the Department for European and International Cooperation (EIZ) since June 2019. Prior to that, he was responsible for KAS's EU Decentralization Program in Kenya as an expatriate. Before joining KAS, Mr. Toedtling worked, among others, for a Member of the European Parliament and was a senior consultant for a consulting firm in the field of public affairs and strategic communication. His academic career includes studies in political science with a focus on international politics as well as journalism and communication studies at the University of Vienna and the University of Bordeaux.
