KAS Cambodia Team

Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Cambodia has been a prominent supporter of journalism development and journalists' education in Cambodia since 1994. We believe journalism plays a crucial role in promoting democracy and bringing together an inclusive society when every voice is heard. In 2001 KAS Cambodia helped establish the Department of Media and Communication, Cambodia’s first higher education institution that offers a bachelor’s degree in Media Management. KAS Cambodia also helps support young working journalists through various programs including internship opportunities in Cambodia and the region and capacity building training.
