To celebrate 30 years of fostering partnerships and promoting governance, development and inclusive dialogue to address global challenges, KAS Cambodia invites you to participate in the KAS 30th Anniversary Photo Contest 2024! Showcase your memory and special moments with KAS to reflect the values of KAS 30th year memories in Cambodia.
Theme: “Share your memory with KAS Cambodia!”
Eligibility
- Open to all KAS followers who have participated in KAS Cambodia’s activities
- Submit a photo taken during any KAS event from 1994-2024
- Must submit only one original photo, taken by the contestant and notyet submitted to any other competition.
- The photo can be taken from either professional camera or from smartphone
- Include a brief description or caption of your memory
- Be able to participant in KAS 30th Anniversary celebration on November 1st
- KAS staff members are not eligible
Copyrights and Usages of the Photo
- Contestant must be the sole author and owner of the copyright for the photo and caption they submit, or they must have obtained permission (with written consent) from the copyright holder to submit the entries on their behalf.
- Photos of the shortlisted candidates are within the rights of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Cambodia to publicize for public voting and showcasing purpose.
Methodology
Call for Submissions: we open the call for submissions from 13th September 2024 until 29th September 2024. All KAS followers are welcome to submit their photos.
Shortlisting: organizers of the contest will proceed the shortlisting process based on the set criterias. The decision will be made within 2 to 5 days after the deadline of submission. Only the shortlisted candidates will be contacted and notified of the results along with the other key requirements set by the organizers.
Public Voting: all the shortlisted photos will be posted on Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Cambodia's Official Facebook Page. One photo that received most likes, shares, and comments will be the winning photo of the People’s Choice Award.
KAS Team Voting: all the shortlisted photos, excluding the winning photo of Public Voting, will be placed in the final round of contest. All KAS team will be invited to assess and grade the shortlisted photos. They will select one more outstanding photo to win the competition.
KAS 30th Anniversary Award:
The top two selected winners will receive an invitation to participate KAS 30th Anniversary Celebration on November 1st, 2024, at Hyatt Regency Hotel.
