Asset-Herausgeber
KAS representatives have to ensure the correct management of funds for projects and activities, all the more so as the projects are mostly carried out in cooperation with local partners.
Funding guidelines serve to make the existing requirements in the application process transparent.
Decisive for the acceptance of a project proposal is the question of whether democracy in South Africa is strengthened and promoted in the long term by the measure.
application
Project proposals should reach the KAS office in South Africa no later than September, the year before the planned implementation of the activity.
Project proposals:
The project proposal should include the following information:
•Objective(s)
•Background of the project
•Type of activity to achieve objective
•Target groups)
• Time frame (time and duration of the activity)
• Draft program of the workshop/seminar
•Detailed budget
•Evaluation and monitoring methodology
The project proposal will then be reviewed to see how well it supports the Foundation's short-, medium- and long-term goals in South Africa.
The implementation of the project will be decided when the budget is distributed for the coming year. The budget talks usually take place in November/December.
If a project proposal is accepted, the Foundation will not reimburse the partner for more than the agreed sum or only for the costs actually incurred.
