Auf der nunmehr sechsten Motorradtour der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung folgen wir der in Baden-Württemberg entspringenden Donau von Tuttlingen über Passau und der international geprägten Stadt Wien bis Budapest, von West nach Ost über die Grenzen des einstigen Eisernen Vorhangs hinweg. Mit Stopp in Ulm, wo wir uns den Schwaben entlang der Donau widmen. Wir thematisieren Wien als einstigen und aktuellen Magneten internationaler Diplomatie. Und wir suchen in Budapest nach den Spuren der politischen Sonderrolle Ungarns, die Ende der 80-er Jahre das Ende der deutschen und europäischen Teilung beschleunigte. Für den Rückweg haben wir eine Etappe in Prag eingeplant – einen weiteren Schicksalsort der deutsch-deutschen Geschichte und charmante Metropole des alten und modernen mitteleuropäischen Kulturraums.
Das Seminar richtet sich aufgrund der mitunter größeren Strecken an geübte Fahrerinnen und Fahrer. Wir fahren in drei Gruppen und planen, ein Begleitfahrzeug mitzunehmen.
