It contains three articles on the following subjects: the first analyzes some of the main aspects of the relationship between the Legislative and Judicial branches, and the implications for the political scene as a whole; the second article is dedicated to extreme weather events in Brazil today, and the third discusses Brazil's presidency of the UN Security Council, with a focus on the developments related to the conflict in Gaza. The Brasil em Foco series aims to publish monthly articles analyzing the main issues on the political scene, in order to contribute to the democratic debate.
