The Municipality of Tarrazú has been part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Promoting Cantons Program since 2020. Each year, actions are developed in order to comply with the Program, which has allowed all plans, programs and projects of the municipality to contribute to achieving the 2030 Agenda.
In this regard, it is important to note that, with the fulfillment of this roadmap, it contributes to achieving SDG 8 Economic Development and Growth, 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities, 12 Responsible Production and Consumption, 13 Climate Action and 17 Partnerships for the Achievement of the Goals.
