The main topic during the discussions between Indian and German Parliamentarians will be the recent central elections, where the former opposition party BJP won in a spectacular manner. During further discussion, the German MPs and Indian experts will elaborate the challenges and opportunities for the environment, resources and energy supply in their respective countries. In contrast to Germany, where the energy turnaround programme implies to shut down all the nuclear power reactors, India is counting on the expansion of nuclear power to meet the rising demand of the Indian population and companies.
