Subject matter will be a series of Indo-German topics of mutual interest, which also aim at paving the way towards possible future bilateral cooperation. The German JU representatives will meet former participants of the KAS School for Young Politicians (KASYP) besides other young leaders from different fields of expertise. Keeping in mind the recent elections in India and the last elections in the German Parliament, the role of political youth organizations in the context of election campaigns and the potential for recruiting new young members will be a major part of the discussions. The Junge Union is the biggest political youth organization in Europe and covers many political topics. In India, political youth and student organizations have a long tradition. The Lok Sabha elections 2014 resulted in an unprecedented quantity of young MPs.
