Germany after the Elections - towards a new Security Policy?

The Swedish Atlantic Council and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung have the pleasure of inviting you to an online discussion, September 28th at 17.00-17.45.

Foreign and security policy have been close to non-existent in the election campaign. Still, the question of Germany's role as not only an economical, but also a potential emerging security and foreign policy “power house”, has become increasingly evident during the last couple of years. With an increasingly aggressive Russia, an even more assertive China and a United States in the process of shifting its focus towards Asia, the next German government will face a complicated geopolitical landscape. One thing is certain: change will come. The question is: how will Germany handle it?
