Globalization is dramatically changing our lives and the question is often asked, how we can tackle the problems of globalization? One way is through the social market economy. The concept of ‘social market economy’ is synonymous with prosperity, social justice and sustainable economic activity and, above all, is a dynamic concept. The articles compiled in this book provide some case studies where Japan and Germany may compare corporate strategies and share their common interests within the context of ‘social market economy’ - being a highly competitive model for a better and sustainable world.
