Entitled ‘International Solutions: Aotearoa New Zealand’s Place in a Troubled World’, the Conference provides a platform for experts from Government, business, academia, and non-Government organisations both from New Zealand and overseas to discuss the most important international affairs issues of our times. Keynote speakers include the New Zealand Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Nanaia Mahuta, the Prime Minister of Fiji, the Hon Sitiveni Rabuka, and the US Assistant Secretary of State, Daniel Kritenbrink. The presenters are covering a wide range of topics, including ‘enabling international commerce’, ‘Pacific solutions for the climate crisis’, and ‘new strategies for defence and security in the Pacific’. In the words of NZIIA, the Conference focusses on solutions in international affairs, rather than just detailing the global challenges.
