Think Digital 15 herunterladenThe European industry is supporting the implementation of a high-performing, competitive, secure and trustworthy data infrastructure for a future oriented industrial data economy in Europe. Based on this, the German and French ministers of Economic Affairs, together with representatives from business and science, presented the GAIA-X project for the creation of an open data infrastructure in Europe. With the establishment of the GAIA-X Foundation as a central coordination and contact point, the project is now set to gain further momentum and inviting as many European partners as possible for a common digital ecosystem for innovation and competitiveness of cloud infrastructure in Europe. This "Think Digital!" conference focuses on the discussion on how to create a strong and future-oriented industrial data economy in Europe and how Gaia-X fits into this process to enable innovative and new data driven business models.
"Think Digital!" 2020 is a project by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie (ZVEI). In a series of high-level political events in Brussels throughout 2020, we will bring together representatives from the European Institutions, think tanks, research institutions, civil society and the private sector.
