The European Office of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and KU Leuven are delighted to invite you to our 2nd Annual Conference in the framework of the research project "European Party Monitor" under the title "Geopolitical Ambitions vs Pragmatic Realism: What is next for EU's enlargement agenda and how does party politics come into play?". After a keynote statement by Maciej Popowski, Acting Director-General (DG NEAR), we will discuss the question of EU enlargement and the role of political parties in the Western Balkans on two panels with well-known experts from all over Europe.

2nd Annual Conference (European Party Monitor)

The European Party Monitor aims to provide up to date information and analysis about the party-political developments in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe as well as the Balkans by generating detailed policy briefs, conducting regular expert conferences and workshops. It also seeks to bring together academic and policy experts, politicians and other relevant stakeholders to discuss and share the insights around the party politics and the electoral processes in the Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe.
