Workshop
Details
Over the next months the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and Google are hosting several Events addressing digital topics. While the first workshop on 23 June 2015 focused solely on digital skills of German employees, our next session will concentrate on digital trade. Organizations such as DIGITALEUROPE have repeatedly expressed the need to strengthen cooperation between the EU and the USA on digital topics in order to remain competitive in the global market. Although the US government insists on including digital issues like data privacy in the TTIP agreement, most European actors are unwilling to even negotiate these. The Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation and Google want to use their next session to illustrate the growing digital transformation of transatlantic trade and thus, underline the importance of tighter cooperation between the EU and the USA.
