How African Economies work: A Guide to Business and Economics Reporting, edited by Nixon Kariithi, is a compendium of 12 chapters representing a range of classic and critical research into contemporary business and economics news issues, as well as analyses of professional issues related to the practice of business journalism in Africa.
The contributors are academics from leading journalism schools at ten African Universities and have been part of an extended collaboration with KAS and one another to develop and improve business journalism curricula at their respective universities.
