Preparing Today's Scholars for Tomorrows' Society: Our Problems, Our Resources, Our Solutions
KAS-Ghana office organized a 3-Day workshop in Cape Coast for KAS Scholars. The event, under the theme "Preparing Today's Scholars for Tomorrows' Society: Our Problems, Our Resources, Our Solutions" brought together KAS supported scholars pursuing various graduate degrees in universities across Ghana to the Central Regional capital to brief each other on their various research activities, engage in community development activities through the use of the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) model. The scholars took opportunity to visit the Cape Coast Castle and the Kakum National park as part of their networking and tourism activity.

Der German African Entrepreneurship Summit (GAES) in Ghana findet von Montag, 11. Februar bis Mittwoch, 13. Februar 2019, im La Palm Royal Beach Hotel statt. An diesem Gipfel nehmen 150 Vertreter des panafrikanischen Unternehmertums teil, um ihre Erfahrung und Kreativität auf zentrale Fragen des Unternehmertums in Afrika zu konzentrieren und voneinander zu lernen. Die Veranstaltung steht unter dem Motto: “Unleash the Ecosystem - to shape Policies, collaborate with Companies and determine its own Future.” Die GAES wird von der Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) in Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern organisiert. Zu den Partnern gehören das Ministry of Business Development, AHK (Delegation der Deutschen In-dustrie und Handel in Ghana), Afrilabs, #i4Policy, Make-IT in Afrika und Ghana Tech and Business Hubs in Ghana.
