One Year on from the Russian Invasion of Ukraine – Priorities for European Security and Defence

The half-day symposium includes two panel discussions with expert speakers providing Irish, German and transatlantic perspectives on the topic. 

The first panel, Defending Europe: Adapting to a New Threat Landscape, will reflect on changes to European security and defence policy, precipitated by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The second panel, The Transatlantic Relationship: Current State and Future Challenges, in the afternoon will examine the importance of the transatlantic relationship for European security and defence.
