Details
Infolge der EU-Assoziierungsabkommen steht die euro-mediterrane Partnerschaft vor grundlegenden Herausforderungen: Freier Waren- und Dienstleistungsverkehr mit der Errichtung einer Freihandelszone ab dem Jahre 2010 sowie eine kohärente Migrationspolitik stehen auf beiden Seiten des Mittelmeeres zur Umsetzung an.
Um die Diskussion dieser entscheidenden Punkte programmatisch weiterzuführen und politische Entscheidungen vorzubereiten, setzten das Regionalprogramm Nahost / Mittelmeer (Amman / Tunis ) der KAS und die Fraktion der EVP-ED im Europäischen Parlament das gegen Ende letzten Jahres erfolgreich lancierte Netzwerk von Parlamentariern und Vertretern politischer Parteien mit dieser euro-med Parlamentierkonferenz fort.
