Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is promoting and fostering the equal opportunity of women in all aspects of society. By strengthening the human capacities of women and providing support KAS is offering the bases for sharing the best practices and models for active participating in politics and decision-making processes.
For this purpose Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in cooperation with its Dutch partner, the Eduardo-Frei-Foundation, is organizing a series of trainings for women and party-members in order to encourage to be more active in politics a local and regional level.
The trainings will be implemented for a selected group of women of different party branches/ local municipalities in order to present to them best practices and experiences from other European countries. During the trainings we would like to discuss with them how to professionalize their work, in order to be candidates for political man-dates. The aim is to gather interested women in order to convey a solid knowledge of instruments and methods for starting an active political life in-side a party and to increase their professional and personal contribution as a woman to modern politics.
