This dialogue would serve as a crucial step to gaining momentum and empowering women's political engagement and leadership via comprehending socio-economic, cultural, and institutional hurdles, sharing personal experiences, and developing strategic solutions to share challenges for Sabah, and for the nation of Malaysia as a whole. The outcomes of the dialogue and specific recommendations identified will enable an action to be addressed to the parliament, local government, political parties, organisations, civil society, and media to empower momentum for women's political participation, recognise and understand particular difficulties faced by women in political leadership, share experiences and develop capacity, and identify strategic solutions.
