Objectives:
To provide a wider perspective on the importance of addressing the digital divide among the farming communities;
To impart better sharing, understanding and appreciation of ICT acculturation initiatives for the development of the farming communities;
To highlight challenges, opportunities and critical success factors in spearheading the development of a common e-platform for any localized farming group;
To explore and identify suitable and effective independent local initiatives that can assist in fostering ICT acculturation among the farming communities in Sabah; and
To enhance interest and entusiasm among the farming communities in forging joint collaboration with credible project promoters to speahead local development and community participation in the K-economy; and
To serve as a forum to consolidate findings on the socio-economic improvement benefited by the various targeted farming communities through localized ICT acculturation initiatives.
