Im Anschluss an das diesjährige „6th Forum Emerging Leaders in Asian Journalism“ trafen sich im August in Peking auf Einladung des KAS-Medienprogramms Experten für die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Journalisten zu einem „Training for Trainer“-Workshop. Mit Blick auf die wachsende Bedeutung der sozialen Medien im Internet besprachen die Teilnehmer aus sechs Ländern notwendige Änderungen an den Curricula. Im praktischen Teil des Workshops erprobten sie unter Leitung von Dr. Dave J. Clark (ACFJ) neue Software-Lösungen für „Distance Learning“-Angebote.
