Capacity Building Workshop for Senior Staff and Management of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund

In order to ensure the protection of lives and properties of Nigerian citizens, the Federal Government established the Nigeria Police Trust Fund in 2019 with the responsibility to train and retrain the personnel of the Nigeria Police Force. Only through such retraining can the welfare of such personnel be guaranteed and their service to the nation enhanced.

Thematic areas to be covered at this capacity building workshop include Work Ethics and Values in the Public Service; Effective Administrative Procedures; Team Building in the Workplace; Public Procurement and Prospects; Strategic Communication: Financial Regulations in the Public Service: The Banana Peels; Strategic Human Resource Management; and Dynamics of Reforms in the Public Service among others.

The workshop is part of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s support towards sustaining democracy, governance and security sector reform in Nigeria.
