The workshop intends to help policy-makers and stakeholders better understand, and more effectively address the various issues and problems related to the West Philippine Sea. It aims to highlight the two less emphasized pillars of the National Marine Policy, namely:
- Marine Area Development and Conservation
- Marine Area Regulation and Enforcement
