Remembering late Senator Aquilino "Nene" Pimentel Jr.
The Philippines lost a great Filipino statesman. It was an honor for the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Philippines Office to have worked and collaborated with the late Senator Aquilino "Nene" Pimentel Jr.
The first picture was when he spoke during a KAS conference commemorating the anniversary of the People Power Revolution, about the leader who toppled a dictator and the leader we need now. The second picture was a candid moment between Senator Nene and our Country Director Prof. Dr. Stefan Jost during an event in Cagayan de Oro. What a loss for the Philippines. Our condolences go out to his family, friends, and loved ones.
