In the knowledge-based economy it is a learning city that becomes an incentive to innovation and a key element of socio-economic development.
Learning cities are cities encouraging innovation, providing a friendly environment and infrastructure to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas are becoming an increasingly important source of economic growth.
Are Polish cities innovative? Do they encourage the development of a knowledge-based economy? Do they create a friendly environment for the development of entrepreneurship? Is there a real cross-sector cooperation?
The image of innovativeness of Polish cities will be presented in our report, in which 66 towns with county rights will be compared. The ranking will be announced on May 29 in the Copernicus Science Centre during the annual conference Europolis.
