Workshop
Details
In 2023, many KASSID scholars from the first batch graduated with their degrees. KAS Thailand continues granting the KASSID scholarship to new students for the third consecutive year. Therefore, to provide the new scholars with the overview of KAS and KAS work in Thailand, the organization will share its missions, visions, goals, and projects implementing in the country with the students.
Apart from the support for higher education in Thailand, KAS invites a representative from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to share information about pursuing higher education and research in Germany. This is to allow the students to learn about opportunities to further their studies in Germany, which is widely known for its quality education.
Besides, to correspond to the current situation where “Soft Power” is widely mentioned in the society, KAS organizes a workshop titled “Youth Participation in Rethinking Soft Power Concept for Thai Foreign Policies” by inviting Asst. Prof. Dr. Chanintorn Pensute, Associated Dean, Academic Affairs, Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University as a speaker and workshop leader. KAS also provides a networking platform during a dinner talk to let the scholars introducing themselves, updating their studies progress, exchanging ideas on possible project cooperation among the scholars, including presenting their academic papers or social projects they are participating in.
