Details
A three-day workshop in Bangkok organised during the official visiting programme to Thailand of Mr Manfred Grund, Member of German Parliament (CDU/CSU) from 5 – 7 February 2007.
The workshop has main objective to discuss and analyse Thailand’s political and economic development after the military coup in September 2006. The programme includes discussions and exchange of experience and opinions with high-ranking representatives of the present Thai government, political parties, as well as political and economic experts, e.g.
•Vice President of the National Legislative Assembly (NLA): General Charan Kullavanijaya
•Minister to Office of the Prime Minister: Mr Prasit Kovilaikool
•President of the Supreme Court and President of the Constitutional Tribunal: HE Panya Thanomrod
•President of the Election Commission: HE Apichart Sukagganond and Election Commissions and Executives
•Members of the Constitutional Drafting Committee, led by Mr Paiboon Varahapaitoon
•Member of the National Legislative Assembly and Secretary-General of King Prajadhipok's Institute (KPI): Prof Dr Borwornsak Uwanno
•Former Judges of the Constitutional Court of Thailand
