Political Leadership Excellence Program (PLEP) 2025
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Türkiye, together with EDAM, is organizing a year-long training program for Young Leaders interested in politics.
We are waiting for your applications for the Political Leadership Excellence Program (PLEP) 2025, organized in collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Türkiye and the Center for Economics and Foreign Policy Studies (EDAM)!

What is PLEP?
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Türkiye Representation, in collaboration with Center for Economics and Foreign Policy Studies (EDAM), is organizing a comprehensive one-year educational program called PLEP (Political Leadership Excellence Program) aimed at the political leaders of the future. This program aims to develop the leadership skills of Turkish students and young professionals who aspire to pursue a career in politics.
The training modules will be conducted face-to-face by experts and experienced individuals from Türkiye and Germany. This practical program will offer participants the opportunity to share experiences and exchange ideas by directly interacting with politicians, diplomats, and experts.
Who Can Apply?
• Students aged 23-35, including final-year university students as well as master's and doctoral students, can apply for the program.
• Applications are in English, and the modules will be conducted in either English or Turkish.
*Three modules will be held in Istanbul as part of PLEP 2025, and the final module will take place abroad. Candidates selected for the program are required to attend all meetings.
Conditions required for the application:
• English CV in table format (with photo) Format: Times New Roman 12pt, 1.25 spacing, and a maximum of 1 page long (A4)
• English Letter of Intent (Should state your desire to participate in the program and include the qualities that distinguish you from other candidates)
• An English essay on the topic "Your Vision of Türkiye in 2053" Format: Times New Roman 12pt, 1.25 spacing, and a maximum of 2 pages long (A4). Headings should be bold, and subheadings, if any, should be italicized.
All documents must be sent as a single PDF file to Project Coordinator Türkmen Özmen (turkmen.ozmen@kas.de) by December 31, 2024.
