Details
The Budapest Balkans Forum is the flagship conference of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, bringing more than 100 experts, decision-makers, and policy-shapers from across the globe together in Hungary.
Continuing our tradition, the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade, along with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung will organize the seventh instalment of their flagship Western Balkans conference this year. The Budapest Balkans Forum was organized for the sixth time last February and brought more than hundred experts from three continents together.
As the Western Balkans is of strategic importance to the Visegrad countries, the conference brings in the Visegrad perspective and experience on current issues, including the consequences of the war in Ukraine to the region, bilateral disputes, and the prospects of EU enlargement. The event is financially supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
The BBF2023 with three high-level public panels and six expert-level discussions under Chatham House Rules–will be held on March 9-10, 2023.
