The European Democrat Students (EDS), the official student’s organization of the European People’s Party (EPP), will hold its first conference of the working year 2018 in Budapest in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, from the 27th-29th September. The conference will focus on the future of economic growth.
Representing more than one million students in 33 countries, the European Democrat Students is the largest European student’s organization. The European Democrat Students organizes four conferences annually in various European countries. Within the framework of the conferences, speeches on a variety of matters are held, guests from the world of politics are invited and institutions are visited. Among others, the following guests are invited to the conference: Tibor Navracsics, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Balázs Orbán, Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, Judit Varga, Minister of State for EU-Relations, Márton Ugrósdy, Director of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade in Hungary, and Frank Spengler, Resident Representative of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Hungary.
