The FW de Klerk Foundation, in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, will be hosting a conference in Johannesburg on the topic of property rights and the role that land reform can play in expanding property rights.

Various speakers will first highlight the centrality of property rights in successful economies and democracies, whereafter the three areas in which property rights should and could be expanded, will be explored. These are property rights in urban areas, agricultural land and communal land.
