André Algermißen
Director of the Regional Program Central Asia
André Algermißen has been Head of the Central Asia Regional Programme since February 2024. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant for climate, agriculture and the environment in the Analysis & Consultancy Department. Before joining the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, he worked as a research assistant for a member of the German Bundestag. Mr Algermißen studied at the universities of Bonn, Heidelberg, St Andrews (UK) and Albuquerque (USA). He is a former scholarship holder of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
