Dr. Kathrin Zehender

Kathrin Zehender, born in Heidelberg in 1983, studied political science, economic and social history and modern history in Mannheim. This was followed by a doctorate on the centrist and CDU politician Christine Teusch. After several years as a research assistant to various members of the European Parliament and the German Bundestag, she worked for the Commission for the History of Parliamentarianism and Political Parties (KGParl) in Berlin. Here she was responsible for processing the minutes of meetings of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group 1969-1972. Since July 2016, she has been a research assistant in the Contemporary History Department of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin.
