Marian Wendt
Head of the Greece and Cyprus Office
Marian Wendt has been Head of the International Office Greece and Cyprus since October 2022.
The graduate in public administration (FH) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) was a member of the German Bundestag from 2013 to 2021. As a member of parliament, he was, among other things, a member of the Committee on Internal Affairs, Chairman of the Petitions Committee and President of the THW-Bundesvereinigung e.V. He has dealt with issues relating to refugees/migration, civil protection and digitalization. Wendt has also been active for the KAS at numerous events as a speaker and participant in delegations. From 2010 to 2013, he was a research assistant to MP Manfred Kolbe (CDU). In 2009, he completed an internship with US Congressman Russ Carnahan in Washington D.C. Marian Wendt is a trained THW helper and paramedic.
