During the four-day academy, participants were given a basic knowledge of international business practices, especially about the European Union, export procedures, trade barriers, quality standards and the CE mark, the trade agreement between Albania and the EU, business management in times of corona, international marketing and access to finance, etc. In addition, the participants not only exchanged ideas and experiences, gained knowledge about successful business management from experts, but also built up a network of helpful contacts. In the end, demands for a prosperose small and medium-sized enterprise were formulated to the policy makers present.
Participants of this academy were:

-Students of research in the field of international trade or market research
-Students wanting to work in the private sector (exporting SMEs, consulting and market research companies, international marketing agencies, etc.)
A survey was carried out prior to the Academy to understand the training needs and a programme for the Academy was drawn up accordingly.
