The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Office in Albania, in cooperation with CHW, will organize the Diakonia Conference on October 4-5, 2024, in Pogradec. The main discussions of the conference will focus on the theme: "What pillars are needed for the further development of Albanian civil society?" Various issues will be addressed during the event, including the effects of the 2015 territorial reform, the responsibilities of local units in social policies, and the role of the state in social services for rural areas. The conference will include experts from Albania and Germany, as well as representatives of local authorities and civil society.
