Vacancy: Communcations Project Coordinator

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Baltic states office in Riga is looking for a Communications Project Coordinator (part-time, 30h/week)

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the social media presence of the KAS Baltic states office by creating graphic design and visual materials (banners, invitations, stories, etc.) and texts about the current events regarding KAS;
• Ensuring the social media presence of the KAS Baltic states office on social media by creating graphic design and visual materials about current events in the foundation, Baltic states and Germany;
• Video and photography (e.g. interviews, event documentation) for the KAS Baltic states social media channels (IG, FB, LinkedIn, X);
• Website maintenance;
• Development of new communication formats (e.g. development of the podcast “FRONTLINE – Baltic Youth for Security);
• Networking in the field of communication and politics.

We expect:

• Secondary/higher education, student in social science, humanities or related field;
• Very good ability to communicate on social media;
• Very good communication and organisational skills, flexibility, ability to work independently;
• Very good knowledge of Latvian and English (spoken and written), German would be considered an advantage;
• Ability to work with computer programs, Ms Office, Teams, Zoom, etc;
• Ability to create visuals for social media and website, using e.g. Canva, AdobeExpress, or other visual material software;
• Interest in politics and public affairs.
