Book 'Democracy and Anti-Corruption Public Policies'

Corruption is one of the biggest obstacles to the stability of democracy in Brazil and around the world. It undermines necessary public policies, delays the country's development and the search for social justice, as well as undermining citizens' trust in the institutions that sustain democracy. 
To build a fairer country, we need to better understand the ways in which these issues are related and their consequences, as well as analyze international experiences that can serve as inspiration or a warning for the Brazilian case.
With this in mind, Transparency International - Brazil and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) are launching the book "Democracy and Anti-Corruption Public Policies". 
The book brings together 10 chapters written by experts on the subject and is the result of a course of the same name developed by these organizations in 2023, with the aim of training journalists, activists, civil servants and members of civil society organizations in Brazil.

Like the course, this book is aimed at professionals, academics, researchers and citizens interested in better understanding and contributing to the improvement of public policies and the fight against corruption in Brazil. We believe that improving the monitoring and regulation of public policies can be fundamental to preserving and strengthening the democratic rule of law in our country.
