Strengthening of international dialogue
We support the dialogue of Brazil with the world because we are convinced that peace can be assured and global challenges can be overcome by means of international exchange and cooperation.
- Context: Peaceful coexistence of all states is not evident in itself. Global challenges can no longer be overcome by the state on its own, but only by means of the international community.
- Our activities: We foster the dialogue between Brazil and the European Union as well as discussions about Brazil’s role in the world. Since 2004, we have along with our partners been organizing the biggest conference on security policies of Latin America at the “Forte de Copacabana”, where global and local political security challenges are being discussed. This enables the exchange between representatives of Brazilian and international politics, science, the army and civilians.
- Our partner: The Brazilian Centre for International Relations (CEBRI) examines Brazil’s role in the world and the EU Delegation in Brazil supports this initiative.
