The Forte International Security Conference is the largest event of its kind in Latin America. It aims to foster meaningful discussions on common security issues in collaboration with Europe. This year, the conference will focus on promoting dialogue that goes beyond regional boundaries and aims to find shared approaches to address the constantly changing international security landscape.
For over two decades, the conference has brought together experts, diplomats, military personnel, and students to reconsider international security solutions within the framework of the partnership between Latin America and Europe. Given the context of geopolitical conflicts, climate change, and challenges to democratic systems, the conference will explore if there are any viable solutions to global insecurity issues. In 2024, the XXI International Security Conference will be held in alignment with G20 Brazil to discuss the theme "No way out? Navigating Global Insecurity."
