The Group of the European People's Party, abbreviated to EPP Group, is a center-right political group in the European Parliament and a major political force in the European Union. It is made up of MEPs elected from member parties of the European People's Party (EPP).

The European People’s Party (EPP) is the political family of the centre-right, whose roots run deep in the history and civilisation of the European continent and has pioneered the European project from its inception. Tracing back its roots to Europe’s Founding Fathers – Robert Schuman, Alcide De Garperi, and Konrad Adenauer- EPP is committed to a strong Europe, based on a federal model that relies on the principle of subsidiarity.

The “European Network of Political Foundations – independent actors in democracy promotion, development cooperation and political dialogue” established in 2006 is a cooperation structure, serving as a communication and dialogue instrument between European political foundations and the Institutions of the European Union as well as civil society actors in the fields of democracy promotion and development cooperation. Further to that it provides services to its members to promote their integration into the respective programmes of the European Union.

Das Centre for European Studies (CES) ist im Wesentlichen ein Katalysator welcher eine Umgebung schafft in der er wegweisende Forschung und inspirierte Individuen zusammenführt und dadurch neue Ideen ins Leben ruft. Eines der Anliegen des CES ist es, Lösungen zu den Herausforderungen der europäischen Politik zu entwickeln und diese Informationen mit Forschung und Politik auszutauschen. Ideologisch steht das CES der EVP (European People´s Party) und Partnern des wertekonservativen Lager nahe und befasst sich aus diesem Blickwinkel mit der Förderung geistiger Freiheit, der Beobachtung, Analyse, Kommunikation sowie Diskussionsbeiträgen, mit dem Ziel, Europa seinen Bürgern näher zu bringen.
