Workshop
Details
The Five Presidents’ Report of June 2015 and other works on the future of the European Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) call for greater convergence of the Euro countries. Further integration steps like a treasury or a macroeconomic stabilisation function clearly require a more homogeneous Euro area. However, there is no blueprint for the areas in which convergence is really needed to ensure a functioning EMU and in which it is not. This workshop will serve as a platform to discuss these crucial issues. To kick-off the debate, you will find a short thesis paper attached to this invitation.
