An efficient and less expensive way, considered one of the key elements in adaptation actions, are nature-based solutions (NBS). Mechanisms inspired by the natural benefits that we already know can help society adapt successfully. The Oxford University observatory shows us that 59% of the actions implemented and qualified as nature-based solutions help to combat the main climate risks, such as water management, soil erosion and the loss of agricultural productivity.
