How are municipalities in Latin America managing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions?

Article

Currently, emissions can be explained by activities carried out in Latin America, such as energy production and agricultural activities. On the continent, energy production accounts for 46% of emissions, with the use of fossil sources such as oil and coal. They are followed by activities such as agriculture, livestock, change in land use, deforestation and burning, which total 42% of emissions. Together they total almost all greenhouse gas emissions.
