Climate change is one of the biggest challenges that humanity is facing and will face in the coming years. Climate changes caused by global warming due to the greenhouse affect food security, supply aquifer, human security, integrity of ecosystems and the environment, among many. Costa Rica is not exempt. The country should adapt, be an active part of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the solution of a global problem.

The Program of the University for Peace on Energy, Climate Change and Sustainable Development, provides a space for learning and exchange of ideas, thus helping to promote the discourse on these issues and to the creation of innovative solutions.

The Diploma is aimed at people from all sectors: business, civil society and public sector. Also, by its multidisciplinary approach, its scope is broad and can be useful for professionals of any specialty wishing to supplement their training.
