The Honourable Gladys Berejiklian MP, Premier of New South Wales
New South Wales, with a population of 8 million and the latest annual growth rate of 3 per cent, is the engine room of the Australian economy.
Premier Berejiklian was re-elected in March, with her Liberal-National Coalition gaining its third term. The Premier has an ambitious agenda focused on community-centred infrastructure, and transforming the state to be at the centre of health and medtech, science and research, financial services, fintech, aerospace and defence systems and agribusiness and agritech.
As leader of a major economy in the Asia Pacific – the world’s fastest growing economic region – Premier Berejiklian will set out her agenda and outline how NSW has positioned itself as a future-focussed, competitive and well-integrated global leader.
