Details
In the area of defence and security the new Nato-Strategy takes centre piece. On this background the experts’ meeting will be held under the header „A New NATO for a New Security Environment”.
The future basic arrangement of Nato will be the meeting’s main concern. The question as to the necessary organisation and arrangement of the alliance as well as its specific European role will be the focus of the discussions. The programme has three focal points: a) Nato as a global alliance versus regional defence alliance; b) Nato’s instruments and capabilities; c) the role of partnerships in the new Nato-Strategy.
The circle of experts is composed of participants from the UK, Germany and Nato-Institutions.
